I tend to be a Thanks-but-I'm-happy-where-I-am reader. My TBR shelf is full of books that sound great but aren't what I want to read "right now", i.e. not one of the genres I've been reading for the past 5 years. It could be a week to get you to finally pick up that book that intrigues you but isn't what you would normally read.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06075396524555306851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671618213078080040.post-91158739394470831592010-08-26T03:43:33.794-04:002010-08-26T03:43:33.794-04:00I love challenges, but I'm already participati...I love challenges, but I'm already participating in too many challenges :) But, if I like the challenge & I think I might complete it, I might join :) What's one more ;)
Anyway, maybe you can make a genre challenge! You can include different genres & sub-genres & maybe you can have 3 levels: 1 level with only ya books from those genres, 1 level with only adult books from those genres & 1 level with both ya & adult books from all the genres. The last one will be most challenging :)
For example: ya/adult contemporary, urban fantasy, romance, sci-fi, horror, thriller, fantasy, paranormal, cozy mystery, anthology (with stories from different authors), etc... There are just so many choices :)
Well that was just an idea :) I kinda forgot myself ;) I'll be waiting to see what kind of challenge you'll decide to create :)Aleksandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11781896546785210965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671618213078080040.post-65847294794745125922010-08-25T14:20:16.604-04:002010-08-25T14:20:16.604-04:00Ok back to the chunkster idea.... you could call ...Ok back to the chunkster idea.... you could call it the FCC (Fall Chunkster Challenge) :razz:Sheila (Bookjourney)https://www.blogger.com/profile/05354184020340930630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671618213078080040.post-63561692661362806732010-08-25T14:19:28.934-04:002010-08-25T14:19:28.934-04:00OR - Fall themed - like books wither with the word...OR - Fall themed - like books wither with the word Fall in them or having to do with the fall season...

(I am grasping here) :DSheila (Bookjourney)https://www.blogger.com/profile/05354184020340930630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8671618213078080040.post-3287446280250062432010-08-25T14:18:23.946-04:002010-08-25T14:18:23.946-04:00If it a fall reading challenge I am guessing you w...If it a fall reading challenge I am guessing you want to keep it to a few months challenge - like maybe Sept 1 through October 31? A lot of new challenges will start popping up in December for the new year...

For me fall is Chunkster season.
