Review: I think books like this...well series like this should have their own genre. Small town cozies! It has to be cozy!
This novella is book 4 in The Cupcake Diaries series and it is cupcake size. (It probably should be book 3.5 but I won't quibble)
It follows the lives of Andi, Kim and Rachel all who are owners of Creative Cupcakes.
There's a lot going on in this short novella; a rich old man wants to buy their business for his daughter, weddings are being planned, dreams of being married are happening, and careers may or may not be being advanced, a sweet little foster kid, oh and there's a real life Grinch in town that's trying to make sure that no one is going to have a Merry Christmas.
First the Creative Cupcake window is vandalized, then presents for the foster children's Christmas party are stolen..and then Rachel's wedding is...well...I don't want to spoil it...
The Grinch is so Grinchy the roast beef is even stolen and when you think that things aren't going to work out for anyone.
This was a great read and you don't have to read the other books to dive in, but I guarantee that when you finish this one, you'll go back, so you get get a proper introduction to everyone in the stories.
