Bianca

Handsome husband—check.

Beautiful house—check.

Wonderful life...I could never put a check next to this.

Through it all, I longed for a different life. With a man I had called my best friend. A man who is not my husband.

When the unspeakable happens and I’m left alone, its Mick who is there to pick me up.

Mick

Not everything is meant to be.

Watching the woman who owned my heart start a life with someone else - broke me to the core.

But time goes on and I try too.

Until one phone call changes both our lives.

She could have been taken from me forever. Instead, a tragic accident takes away the only man I thought ever made her happy.

When she starts over again, in my city, in my home; sharing slivers of her story with me it's then that I learn not everything is as it appears.

None of this matters though, when I’ve been given a second chance to prove we’re meant to be.

After all, 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love.

I’m asleep, or at least I’m faking sleep very well when the door creaks open. Her footsteps move closer and closer, coming around the foot of the bed, pulling the covers back. The second she does, I roll over, bringing her in close to me. But tonight, I don’t care about the beast of my erection poking into her backside. Does she not know what she does to me?

We never speak in bed. We never speak of her sleeping with me. And I’m not sure if I should break our protocol to tell her how much I want her. It goes deeper—she’s shattered, and I don’t know how to fix her, but I desperately want to.

I come as close to the olive complexion of her back as I can get, and she doesn’t wiggle out of the touch of my erection. The little tease backs her ass closer into it, and it makes me inhale long and deep, exhaling on the back of her neck. She relaxes farther into me, and I can’t resist her, not for a second longer.

I pepper kisses onto her neck, as her hand snakes back over her hip to my cock. The second her fingers make contact with it, though it’s covered by my boxers, my kisses speed up, my own fingers dipping into her low cut tank top. The same whimper she emitted earlier has returned and I push her to her back, bracing myself over her. I should say something, ask her what she wants. When our eyes connect, and we can see each other by the moonlight streaming in, she takes her finger, covering my lips, telling me there will be no talking. With a nod of her head, it’s her way of telling me this is what she wants, and I lower my face to hers, taking control of her mouth.

Her tongue scrapes at my teeth, and she playfully bites the lower part of my lip. Oh, shit, this is sexy as hell. My hands are pushing me up, as to not squish her tiny body. In one fluid motion, I roll over, bringing her with me, her body resting on mine. She’s so light, she won’t hurt me. My arms are wrapped around her, but I can’t resist exploring her whole body. My hands come to rest on her ass when I sneak my fingers between her skin and skimpy shorts.

Squeezing her pert ass, causes my erection to continue to barrel into her body. Scooting to her side, still on me, she pulls my cock through my boxers. I emit another harsh departure of air, only to suck it in again when her hand wraps around my cock, stroking it from the base to the tip.

I intend on telling her what she’s doing is right—what this is with us is perfect, but I can’t. It’s not what we do, not in the confines of my bed.

When she moves her body from mine, I miss her warmth but I don’t have to wait long when the tip of her tongue starts to suck up the precum of my cock. Her tongue connects with me, and my body relaxes into what this is, because it’s Bia and the two of us together are unstoppable.

Review:  I have to admit I'm not a huge friends to lovers trope fan, because someone always has been holding on to a crush for years and years, however, Must Love Forever has changed my mind on these types of stories.

Bia and Mick have been friends since childhood. The death of her husband brings them back together. There's such love between these two that Mick leaves a possible hookup to go to her.

At first I wasn't sure what to make of her running off from the funeral with her bff, though the funeral was more than a bit over the top.

As Bia started to reveal her relationship with her deceased husband my jaw dropped. I knew that their relationship couldn't have been a good one, because that's kind of how this works in stories like this, but I never thought Trent would have been pure evil, and he truly was pure evil. It took a romance that would have been passably good and made it incredible. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what other nasty stuff Trent had been up to in their brief marriage.

Mick was perfect. I loved how the book started out with them as children and him seeing Bia and a nuisance. It was precious and so typical of a young boy. I love that he's so dang sweet even when he's being a bit of a jerk.

Bia and Mick were two characters you couldn't help but love and that makes the story more endearing.

The story will run you through the ringer. You will feel just about every emotion reading this. You will giggle, you'll cry and you'll even get some warm fuzzies.

Leigh Lennon is definitely one of my favorite authors!

Don’t Miss Must Love Coffee by Leigh Lennon from the first season of 425 Madison Ave.

"This book was a total feel-good romance. Gwen and Leo hit it off right from the begging and I really loved how the story is not just about them, their kids, all three of them get a bit of a spotlight and help the story move forward. Even the judge was a great addition to the story." —Amazon Reviewer

Genres: MMF - Contemporary romance

Synopsis:

The Red Head

Growing up in foster care, I never had a family I could call my own. I’d finally found my place in this world. The only problem, it was in the arms of not one, but two men. Two distinctly different men I’d never be able to choose between.

The Doctor

Finally, I’d found the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We were deeply in love. There was only one catch. She loved another, too. A surprising compromise was thrown my way.  We’d share her, in a committed relationship. But, sharing wasn’t my style. Until that was, I started to long for him just as much as I did her.

The Fireman

My redhead seductress had laid claim to my heart, along with the good doctor. He denied loving me but I would catch him watching me, with the same hunger in his eyes as he had for the woman we loved. They are both mine, he just didn’t know it yet.

Growing up with Andrew, he’d always known what he wanted. He’d come out and confirmed his sexuality after telling us he was dating the neighbor boy next door. It wasn’t a big deal. With my sister, it was the same way. I’d suspected early on. She was proud of her sexuality, and my parents wrapped their arms around her in support. In my world, you loved one or the other, not both. And I loved women, and it would be that way until the day I took my last breath.

But why did Levi’s challenges and innuendos affect me so much?

As we laid with Red in the middle of us, Levi’s fingers were only mere centimeters from my shoulders when he had said, “You have a bigger bed than me, so that’ll be a little more comfortable.” Yeah, never thought that much about the California King my brother left me, until now. He made yet another wonderful point.

I had a reply on the tip of my tongue when Red beckoned us. “Um, guys, we can talk HGTV and home décor another time. You both caused me so many fucking orgasms, this girl needs her sleep. Unless you want to fuck me again.”

With Red on her stomach, I was able to look over her naked body and straight at the bare chest of Levi. It was strange. With Red’s soft curves, it was the opposite of what drew me in with the fireman. His chiseled chest scattered with light hair caused my heart to pitter patter for him. I don’t pitter patter for anyone. What the hell.

“Like what you see, Doc?”

Fuck, I did like what I saw, but how the hell could I answer it. I rolled over, covering up the blankets. “Night, LT.”

I thought it was over until a calloused hand hit my hip bone. “Night to you, too, Doc.” Well, shit, even in his touch, I couldn’t deny what was beginning between us.

Review:  I read Leigh Lennon's Must Love Coffee for the 425 Madison series, so I thought I'd give Fahrenheit a try. I also wanted to read a different genre of book, cos I love shaking things up a bit in my reading world.

This is a MMF or Menage book, where you learn right off the bat that Scarlet is in love with two men, Levi, the fireman and Jordan the doctor. Levi is bi and has some feelings for Jordan, Jordan is on the fence with his feelings for Levi. Something's there definitely, but  he's fighting that attraction.

I wish I could say I loved it. I enjoyed it, but there were parts that drove me batty, like Levi's name for Scarlet, "The Redheaded Seductress" and some of the dialogue. I just couldn't get behind it. I love me a sexy story, and yes this story was super sexy, but there are some things and words that just don't always do it for me. Plus it felt like without reading Foundations that there was a little something we were missing. I would have really liked to have known how these three really came to be together. It would have made the story more cohesive for me.

What I did love was the drama that came from Levi's past, that really shook things up. That was a real Wow factor to go along with the "sexy bits". I also liked getting introduced to the couple Levi had been involved with previously.

Scarlets backstory was a good one too, making this more than just a story with a lot of hot sex.. I wish I would have read the first book in the series first, because I probably would have enjoyed this one so much more.

About Must Love Coffee
Gwen
I was stripped of all my own desires and wants when I was married to my ex-husband. I now carry a list with me—a list that will help me choose a man that will put me first in life. Then the storm cloud of an entitled millionaire appears in my life and knocks me off my axis. This man sends so many mixed signals, my body either quakes with anger or passion when I’m around him.

I'm his son's teacher and his tenant, but I find myself wanting more.

Leo
My life is run with precision with little regard for others until a woman in crazy clothes challenges me to be a better father. She’s one of the few people that puts me in my place and maybe for this very reason—I want her more than I can articulate. With her failed marriage and list of requests she needs from her next partner, I know she’s my future. My life is less than perfect, and with it—baggage that follows me everywhere. Does she want my kind of crazy in her life?

I'm her landlord and an a**hole, but  I find myself wanting more.

Where to begin? For starters, you must love coffee...

After all, 425 Madison Avenue is the perfect place to fall in love.

*Each story is completely standalone.

Review: I love short fast paced romances. Must Love Coffee was just that. Gwen and Leo were awesome, though Leo was hard to like at first, because of the type of persona he was conveying at the start and dear lord his language.

What made both characters endearing to me was their attention to their children, though it took Gwen opening a can of whoopass on him at the start to get him to be an more attentive father, though you can't question his caring for his children one bit.

Gwen is sweet, though there are times I marveled at her age, because her dialogue seemed a little young. In fact, the dialogue was probably the only thing that I had a problem with in both characters. Leo, for all his apparent alpha maleness, didn't talk like the type of guy that would be in his social position. The sexy talk between the two often came across as trying to make the story seem erotic, when really this was more of a sweet romance.

Gwen and Leo were great. I liked that Leo admits to his faults and flaws, especially when one of his mistakes involves Luna.

Both their respective exes were thoroughly repulsive, though Leo's ex wasn't quite as visible as Dwayne.

This was such a great read! I can't wait to read the next 425 Madison Ave book!
