New To My Bookshelf

It has been a long time since I did a New To My Bookshelf feature, but since Saturday was my birthday, and I got loads of books I figured that now was as good a time as any.

Right?

Oh and not only was I spending up a storm at Books-A-Million I also managed to pick up a few ITSO cubes at Target.

So I not only bought more books, I even managed to find a place to put them!

Can I get a whoo hoo for that?

So what did I get?

Here's my stash:

The Matchmaker of Perigord: A Novel (P.S.)The Fat Girl's Guide to LifeThe Masque of the Black Tulip (Pink Carnation)

The Temptation of the Night Jasmine (Pink Carnation)With Violets The Courtesan's Wager   [COURTESANS WAGER] [Paperback]

The Missing (Seasons of Grace, Book 2)Grave GoodsBobbie Faye's (kinda, sorta, not exactly) Family Jewels

New To My Bookshelf

I'm breaking away from the mold of In My Mailbox. Instead, I'm going to tell you what new books have come into my life in the past week or in this case, because I've been very busy and very lazy, the last two weeks.

I'm still basking in the wonderfulness that is the lending library at the YMCA in my area. My sister also gave me the first 6 books in the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter. I was told I have to read these kids books because they are great. I just need to find time to fit them in.

My monthly harlequin shipments are in here as well. Lots of books. I left off the 3 cookbooks I've bought in the last weeks because they were too awkward to put in the photo. That said I found some Taste Of Home and Quick Cooking annuals from 1999 - 2001 that we didn't have and a local cookbook from Apple Creek, OH. Good stuff and lots of it!

New To My Bookshelf #2

I'm breaking away from the mold of In My Mailbox. Instead, I'm going to tell you what new books have come into my life in the past week.

For me this means, books I've purchased,  tour books, and books I've swapped at the YMCA's lending library, which is crazy awesome.

I've seriously got to stay away from the YMCA's lending library! I keep finding great books to bring home. Now I have to make time to read all of them. That's not an easy thing to do, especially as I have a bazillion books on my Nook that need to be read. I need more hours in the day for reading!!!

Here's a picture of my current stash; again, some came from the Y's library, other's came from Goodwill and the Harlequin's are my Historical shipment I get once a month. There's also a book tour book in the pile for this week as well.

This week I really added to the bookshelf, though one or two of my finds are only temporary.

Here are my new additions for this week.
