Tonight's sinful dessert special…Valentine's Fantasy

The tasty dish from Benedict restaurant is everything Jessica Lafayette could want… or crave. And it's not the dessert in front of her—it's her waiter. A guy with dark, intense eyes that suggest he wants to slowly lick whipped cream off her skin. A smile so wicked it makes her insides lava-cake gooey. And a too-hot-to-handle body that was meant to be tasted…

Yup, Sam The Waiter is better than chocolate.

But what Jessica doesn't know is that her one-night-waiter is actually Sam Benedict, Upscale Restaurateur. And that her little lie about being from out of town is going to turn into a Big Deal. Now Jessica is in deep hot chocolate… because her Valentine Fantasy is starting to look a lot like a red-hot reality!

Review:  This story is 90 pages of hot fun! Its a super quick read for Valentine's Day. (Yup, I'm a little late on this one)

Nancy Warren is one of my favorite writers for the Blaze line, so I was excited to see what one of this short novellas would be like and I wasn't disappointed.

Nancy treated us to a hot holiday read that was full of great sex and a touch of romance, topped off with a pleasant HEA that doesn't lead Jessica and Sam straight down the aisle. (Which fits the Cosmo theme better than love and marriage)

Jessica really had it bad, trying to have hot sex before Valentine's Day and getting the worst possible date ever and Sam was fabulous. I loved that they kept themselves mostly anonymous. It made their relationship hotter. I only wish, Sam really was what he appeared to be.

I secretly think it would be fabulous if a hero weren't always gorgeous and wealthy. (Cos we all know they aren't out there!)

I loved how Jessica and Sam got together, and it was made better knowing it was rooted in something that actually happened to Nancy! Oh and the dessert at Benedict made me so hungry!

Considering this was a novella, I found all the characters to be well developed and it was easy to connect with our hero and heroine.

A fantastic quick read!

Book Review: Naked Sushi

Author: Jina Bacarr

Book Blurb: One day I'm getting canned from my job as a computer programmer for having wild copy-room sex with a guy I thought was the new game designer. The next, I'm crashing my ex-boss's business lunch in a creative attempt to get my job back and men are eating sushi off my naked body!

That's when I realize:

a) My ex-boss is a hiding corporate secrets

b) Hot copy-room guy is an undercover FBI agent

c) I would make a kick-ass spy!

Then Special Agent Hottie brings out his cuffs, and things get really interesting…

Review: Jina Bacarr writes some pretty spicy erotic for Harlequin. She also really likes to add a Japanese touch to her books, so I was really curious as to how the sushi figured into the story, and what other elements she brought to the table.

Pepper O'Malley is a geeky computer programmer who lost her job because she was getting some on the copier. To try to get her job back she takes her friends job as a sushi model in order to talk to her old boss.

Yes, there are such things as sushi models where people eat sushi off of the body of a naked chick.

(Uh...no thank you)

The copy room sex is hot, so at least she lost her job for a good cause, but after that the story gets a little out of hand. Jina's plot is a little too intricate to work well in a story that is only a little over 100 pages long. It really needed some more length.

But I have to admit, Pepper and Steve (The FBI/Copier Guy) have their moments, some spicy and some silly, so it gave the story some balance, if not levity.

Steve (The FBI Guy) is trying to flush out her boss for some money laundering he's doing through his business and Pepper gets to go along for the ride. It helps that she always wanted to work for the FBI/CIA. So the two of them are in close contact and sparks are flying all over the place because they are both...well...horny...and they can't keep their hands off each other.

This is not a short story to be taken seriously, it is one to read, enjoy and maybe get a few laughs from.

Book Review: Fearless

Book Blurb: Promising career: check

Amazing apartment: check

The best of friends: check

Sex life: MIA

There’s just one thing missing from Gia Renyard’s life: sexual adventure. And the one man she’d like to have it with is her hot co-worker, Luke Monroe. If only company rules didn’t prohibit her from asking him out. So Gia comes up with a plan: make herself over into a fantasy seductress, follow Luke to a convention in Sin City, and have her way with him for one erotic weekend. The man will never even know who did him.

Everything is going according to plan—until Gia discovers that Luke is perfect for her outside the bedroom too. And suddenly she’s no longer content to let what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...

Review: Fearless is Tawny Weber's contribution to the new novella imprint Cosmo Red Hot Reads. These are short, spicy stories that are all about the sex! Tawny is a familiar name for lovers of the Blaze imprint and her writing style is perfect for this new venture.

Fearless is a fab Vegas story.

Gia wants to have hot, fantasy sex with a guy from work.

2 things prevent her from doing that.

She's not quite as forward as her other friends and there's a rule at work prohibiting office relationships. The good thing is, she's heard her fantasy guy Luke will be leaving the company.

So off to Vegas she goes after a good makeover that will guarantee the guy will not recognize her from work.

Now comes the good part, the sex!

Of course she gets the guy!

This is why I love Tawny's writing. Her sex scenes are hot without dipping into the overly graphic area that most erotica seems to take. Plus, Tawny's story is part hot sex, part romance. You know Gia has got to get her guy.

So there is more than just a wild Vegas weekend. There are consequences.

I like how Tawny wraps things up and gets Gia and Luke together, thanks to a pair of totally awesome shoes.

Another great read from Tawny!
