Book Blurb: Snarling teeth, glowing eyes. Someone--something--is after Sadie Graves.
Elijah Stokes, the man who haunts her dreams, enters her reality claiming she’s transforming into a changeling--not quite immortal but no longer human.

Battle lines are drawn and blood spills as the two fight not only for Sadie’s life, but for all of mankind's as well.

Review: I've read a lot of Amber Scott's books and I've loved them all. This one was no exception, but it was a little harder for me to get into, mostly because I only casually read paranormals. If you love paranormal, and you don't read this, well....YOU SHOULD.

There is so much going on in this story. It starts with Sadie and her sister, Heather coping with their mother's issues, then flashes forward to Sadie dealing with her own problems and Heather acting the part of the concerned parent. (Even though she is the younger sibling). One thing I can say throughout most of the book, Heather was obnoxious. She spent so much time worrying that Sadie was insane, that it was hard to believe she wasn't. She definitely would have driven me there!

The real essence of this story is the relationship between Sadie and Elijah. There's some sexual tension here that you need a knife to cut! Elijah is a seeker from another realm. Sadie is a human..or she thinks she is...actually she's a changling. Not quite human but not totally immortal. Immortals view love in a different way from humans and this is really the key to keeping that tension level high.

She's also the key to finding a long lost book that has information about the two realms. There are a lot of people looking for Sadie and most of them aren't looking for her for good reasons.

Ms. Scott keeps this story moving at a fast pace by combining mystery, romance and a lot of the unexpected. There were quite a few plot twists near the end that I definitely didn't see coming. I'm looking forward to the second book in this series.

Unable to break free from an invisible cage of lust and sex to fall in love again, he’s resigned to being a sex object and nothing more.

But she’s resigned to leave behind the complications of men and sex. She hopes that logic will win out over her unreliable emotions—but she’s put to the test when she accidently summons Flynn from his teapot prison.

Little do they know, they’ll both get what they wished for, even if it’s not exactly what they envisioned.

**Intended for a mature reading audience age 18 and over.**

Review This is one of the first ebooks that I've ever been drawn to because of the cover. It is simply stunning. The four stories are super short, all around 25 pages long. So in some cases it feels like a bit of a wham bam thank you ma'am sort of thing, but oh are they steamy.

All of the stories center around an antique store in Savannah, GA and the items for sale or purchased there.

In Keta's Cradle of Dreams a love story from the past comes to the present. The story centers around a civil war soldier who returns home to find his love betrothed to another.

Roane was a bit of an angry and horny alpha male. In some ways I could understand his anger at Kendrick for moving on, but it was also unreasonable.

I loved the historical aspect of this story. Roane was a bit more than a domineering soldier back from the war. You could really feel his frustrations. I wasn't as fond of Kendrick though. It was obvious that she was in love with Roane. Betrothed to another or not, I couldn't understand her actions toward Roane at times.

The sex between those two was explosive and well written. Definitely a get hot and bothered story.

The return to the present was a nice touch. I also loved Calypso, who seemed to be in two time frames.

Amber Scott is one of my favorite Indie authors, and she was the main reason I wanted to read this anthology. Again, she did not disappoint. "A Love Soul Deep" is just a gorgeous, sexy story about a second chance.

I'm not quite sure how the love affair in this story really worked out..was the guy with Sara a ghost? Either way, Sara got the chance to fulfill her dream of making love to Crew, the boyfriend that was killed in a car accident years earlier.

This story was truly heartbreaking and emotional. The love between Sara and Crew really transcended life and death.  This was my favorite story of the bunch. It managed to heat things up but it also tugged at the heartstrings. And the ending! OMG I won't give it away, but even though the ending isn't quite the happily ever after most would expect, the ending is perfect! This is a must read story!!

If Amber's was the best story, Elise Hepner's "One More Rub" had to be the most fun.  A genie that grants 3 sexy/naughty wishes. Yes, please! More, please!

The concept was adorable and a cold shower is a must after all the steamy sex between Flynn and Helena!  I liked the backstory about the curse that landed Flynn in the teapot as well. This story was sexy cute!

The last story is "Til We Meet Again" this is another "ghost lover" story. I actually wanted more of this one because I thought it need more. Not that I disliked anything in the story. I loved Ethan and Cassie, I just wanted to get to know them both better.  When the story ended, I felt let down that I didn't know either of them enough.

I really enjoyed all 4 of the stories in this anthology, in varying degrees.  I just wish they were all a bit longer. They weren't really novellas because they were only about 25 pages each.  I look forward to reading full lengths by the three authors that are new to me from this, and as always, if there is anything by Amber Scott out there, I suggest everyone read it.

Book Review: Irish Moon # 22 Bestseller for the Day

Irish Moon
Author: Amber Scott

Book Blurb: Druid Magick... Breanne grapples with the old ways, her mentor murdered before she masters her talents. The stranger washed ashore must be the key to proving murder.

Knight Errant... Ashlon made a vow to bury the Bloodstone, it's horrific past, it's secrets, in the farthest reaches of Ireland.

Fate's Twisted Course... Passion binds them but betrayal will test every belief under an Irish Moon.

Review:  I fell in love with Amber Scott's writing when I read Play Fling. I was eager to read Irish Moon, and it didn't disappoint me. Amber writes historical romance just as well as she does contemporary romance.

Irish Moon had a wonderful mixture of romance and magic and mystery. The characters all had good chemistry, whether they were friends, family or lovers. I particularly loved Rose. She was lusty and gossipy and fun. Just the sort of friend that every girl needs or wants.

The story revolves around the death or Breanne's Druid teacher, Hermone. When she discovers his body, she also discovers an injured knight, Ashlon. She nurses Ashlon in secret. It doesn't take long for sparks to fly. These two have a link, one that she's trying to hide, because her soon to be stepfather is getting ready to see her wed, much to her chagrin. Together they set out to find a missing chest, and in the process they succomb to their desires.

Amber gives her readers some spicy sex scenes, but she doesn't go overboard, which is good. It gives the story balance and the lovemaking doesn't overtake the plot.

The highlight of the story is the cat, Finn, who Breanne is  trying to release from a curse. He's sarcastic and funny...and really one of the best written characters in the book. He is also more than what he seems, a lot more than what he seems.  In fact, the last few chapters were really a surprise to me, so I give kudos to Amber for the unexpected plot twist.  I really didn't see it coming.

Amber really has a good grasp of the old Irish culture. Reading Irish Moon felt like a trip back in time.  If you haven't read any of Amber's books, start with this one! It is a great read!

Book Review: Play Fling (Bestseller For The Day) #14

Book Blurb: Face Your Target... Brooke Munkle didn't leave a lukewarm marriage just to flounce into the first hot bed. Too young, too hot, Elliott Jovovich has no business distracting her from starting over. If only he'd get out of her fantasies. Maybe if she keeps things simple, she can allow herself one naughty indulgence. After all, who will know? Pull The String... Elliott sees through Brooke's stiff facade. Underneath her struggle to hold it all together, a vibrant, wanton woman is waiting to be freed. To win her heart, he'll play by her rules, which would be a a lot easier if her hostile best friend didn't fight so dirty. Sure, he has ammo of his own, but what he knows could hurt Brooke. Steady. Aim. Release... Millie Match isn't sure what she did to deserve this matchmaking hell. The sneaking around, the spying, compatibility issues, chemistry crises. Her target, Brooke, is keeping secrets. Elliott is definitely Mr. Wrong. And if Millie doesn't make true love magic now, she'll lose the one thing in this punishment worth fighting for.

Review: Finally! A romance novel with a real woman! A woman that isn't twentysomething! A younger guy! A really stupid...yet lovable cupid!

It only took a few pages to know that this was going to be a fun book.

Brooke is falling for a much younger man who happens to be one of her college professors teaching assistants. The whole younger man thing kind of freaks her out too , especially after ending her marriage to Jason.  (Oh and Jason has some secrets of his own)

Then there's Millicent and AJ. Millie is Brooke's BFF that's just a little too well meaning. She is trying to work some cupid magic on her friend, but she's getting it all wrong. Very early on, you want to scream at her to butt out, but that's what makes things so fun.

But this is more than just a cute good time romance. Amber has created some very real characters, that have real problems. Brooke is trying to get a new business off the ground, and she finds herself attracted to a much younger man. It doesn't help matters that her ex is a not quite what he seems, and most of her friends and family seem to think she's a fool.

I really loved the characters, and how real they were. This was the first book of Amber's that I've read, but it won't be my last.
