Blurb: Nick Radford is a reluctant werewolf who's been fighting the Beast within for nearly 500 years. He's never killed a human, but the Beast is gaining strength and Nick may not be able to ward off his inner demon much longer.

Kyla Yaeger is an elite were-hunter with a scarred past. Her life's mission is to slay the werewolves that slaughtered her parents. Her quest has brought her to Maine, where she's been summoned to destroy the werewolf terrorizing the quaint little village of Heavensent. The last thing she needs is to get distracted by her mysterious—not to mention hunky—new neighbor, Nick Radford.

By the time Kyla learns Nick is her target, she's already fallen for him, making her task of killing him that much harder. She is torn between her love for him and her duty to kill her sworn enemy. Nick fights his forbidden love for Kyla, knowing she is duty-bound to kill him. Kyla and Nick must join forces to fight an even bigger threat—one that will destroy all humanity. Only by their combined powers, can they destroy the evil and bring an end to a centuries old curse.

Review: Cursed Mates is a really interesting take on the werewolf legend.

The heroine is a were-hunter. The hero is a werewolf, who really has had enough of his existence.

Girl meets wolf. Girl has to kill wolf, but Girl falls for wolf. Only the girl is the wolf hunting equivelant of Van Helsing or Buffy. Falling for a werewolf is something not in her game plan. Her backstory is reason enough why this shouldn't happen, but it does.

This is the kind of book that a reader will devour like candy. You know its bad for you, but oh its so good and I really enjoyed it.

I loved the twists and turns of the plot and all the interesting paranormal elements of the story. I especially loved the concept of the white wolf and the black wolf. But there's more than that...there's witches and Native American spirit guides oh and some pretty evil demons too.

The characters were engaging and fun to spend a few hours with. Cara Marsi is definitely an author I will read again. This was a great read! I highly recommend it to those of you that like this genre, and even those that want to give it a try.

Book Blurb: In a decadent empire of the far distant future, Gabriella is chosen to serve as a sexual companion for the king. However, Brie has no intentions of joining the Select Few. In fact, she has another mission, entirely...one that is destined to alter the future of the kingdom's poverty-stricken population.

Michel also serves the king. It's his job to train Brie to suit the king's sexual preferences. Trouble is, Michel wants Brie for his own.

Publisher's note: Although this book is set in the distant future, the setting and tone are more "historical" in nature. Mine is a re-release, previously published by Loose Id, LLC. A Night Owl Romance Reviewer Top Pick.

Review: This is 70 pages full of WOW! It is futuristic erotica. This story centers around Gabriella and Michel.  Both are working to change the country, though neither know it.

This is a story that is easily devoured in one sitting.

What I enjoyed the most was that it was more than just sex.

Sure the sex was there, because, heck, Michel is supposed to train the women to please the king. Now there's a job most men would envy! But Jill Noelle makes it more than that.

If you are looking for a great erotic short story. This is definitely the one to choose. Jill is going on my list of must read authors now.

Book Blurb: Lady Kathryn's father has sent her to court to find a husband, but being penniless and disinterested doesn't bode well for her success. Bored by the petty intrigues of court, she finds her loneliness is eased when the king charges her with the care of his newest acquisition: an uncanny black wolf. What the king doesn't realize is his remarkable pet was once Gabriel, his favorite knight, cursed into wolf form by an unfaithful wife.
The beast's too-knowing eyes and the way he seems to understand her every utterance convinces Kathryn the wolf is more than what he seems. Resolving to restore him, she doesn't count on the greatest obstacle being Gabriel himself. The longer he stays in wolf form as a captive of the court, the harder it becomes for him to remember his humanity. And to fight his wolfish urges to maim and kill.
As Gabriel and Kathryn grow to care for one another despite his horrific curse, rumors of an uncanny wolf reach the ears of Gabriel's former wife and her unscrupulous new husband, Reynard. Together, they plan to dispose of the king's pet, knowing if Gabriel ever regains his human form he could strip them of everything they have schemed so hard to gain.

Only Kathryn's affection and determination stand between Gabriel the wolf and Gabriel the man. But when Reynard returns to court, will Kathryn's love be enough to keep Gabriel from exacting a brutish revenge that will condemn the wolf to death?

Review: This is a wonderful retelling of Beauty And The Beast, using a werewolf spin.  The thing I found most enjoyable was that it was told in a light romantic way. This isn't a steamy erotic novel, which I think is wonderful. I've always found it better when fairy tails aren't tampered with too much.

E.D. Walker really made the characters in the story likable.  The wolf, Gabriel, is really the best. I liked that his point of view was told through his thoughts, rather than going a cheesy route and having the beast talk.  Lady Kathryn is a delightful character. Her fondness for the Gabriel in his wolf form really endeared her to me. I loved how she told him stories and spoke to him as if he were in his human form.

I really liked the spin Walker took on this classic fairy tale. It is really a sweet, cute story, and since it is part of the Sweetheart line at Noble Publishing, it is suitable for more readers. The Sweetheart line is comparable to Harlequin's Romance line. This is something that teens could read.
