Book Blurb: Nestled in the heart of Seattle, A Taste for All Pleasures is a warm hub of decadent baking delights. Sweet buttery cookies with melted chocolate, yummy cupcakes with creamy soft icing…and the owner, Angela Loukas, is about to meet a mouthwatering morsel of a man—one she can't resist!

Unfortunately, Daniel Flynn is officially celibate. No sex. No dating. It's criminal, really. But once he steps into Angela's shop, he remembers what temptation—in the form of chocolate icing and a mischievous set of chocolate-brown eyes—feels like.

Now he wants to have his cupcakes…and Angela, too!
Just One Kiss

Review: What a great premise! I read the blurb of this book and I absolutely had to read it. The book almost lived up to my expectations. Almost, and that gives me a sad face.

There were some great things about this book.

1. Angela is really an Alpha female. She's a take charge kinda girl even if it means cutting off her nose to spite her face, which she does both personally and professionally.

2. The food descriptions made me very hungry! I wanted some recipes involved for the cookies and cupcakes!

3. Bonnie and Seth! I need their story told NOW!!!!

4. Daniel was so sweet..and so not what I expect from a romance novel hero. He was more like the heroine. I mean the guy promised his dying fiancee he'd be celibate until their wedding day? WTF!

As much as I loved Angela, I also wanted to choke her. Her inability to see reality about her pastries made no sense. She's making money on cookies and cupcakes, but she wants to be a glamorous bakery. I found that she spent entirely too much time wanting to be something she wasn't. Which is what her ex-husband said. Funny, that even though he was a slug, he was right, and she was misinterpreting what he was telling her. I couldn't believe how she'd dismiss someone from her life because of the cookies vs pastries thing! Talk about overreacting!

I adored Daniel and I loved the smokin' hot sex scenes. But to be truthful, the fun in this novel was how their first date went so horribly and hysterically wrong.

All in all a sweet, sexy and fun read. Not perfect, but still worth reading! Isabel Sharpe is one of my favorite Blaze authors!
