Review: The first thing I noticed about this book was the cover. It really gives you a good idea about the road trip aspect of the book. Although it would have been better if they would have made the girl look like she was from the time period that the book was set in..which was 1981

The book is long. 520 pages for a book that's kind of Chicklit in nature and that makes it a bit drawn out. OK it makes it a lot drawn out. This book should have been about 200 pages shorter and it would have been perfect, but the length slowed things down and the drew away from the things that were good about the book.

What was good about the book?

The characters were well developed and interesting. I really loved Shelby and Gina. There journey across the country is one that is full of ups and downs. They have an idea of what they want to happen on this journey and of course, these things don't happen.

This is actually a re-release of a book that was out in 2007. (I kept thinking if I was going to rerelease this book, I might have trimmed it down)

Review: Yay for holiday cozy mysteries. I read The Stitching Hour and loved it as well as Wicked Stitch. This is book 10 in the series, You don't want to miss a single book in this series, they are such fun.

I've really love all the characters in this book and their friendships. I feel like I'm visiting friends when I read a book from this series..

I highly recommend this cozy as well as the whole series

Review: I have to say, I'm a sucker for contemporary cowboy romances, especially when they are on the sweet side of the romance.

Molly and Chance are two people that have a lot in common but Molly's ambitions and her past relationship with a wealthy guy that didn't care as much for her as she did him, makes her weary of any new relationship with another guy in a different social class.

The real stars of the show are Chance and Molly's song Braden. The little boy really adorable, especially in his desire to have a bull family for Christmas, along with a super popular train set.

Molly is a little bit too much to take at times, because she was really trying to plan out her son's life, when he hadn't started living it. She was planning his life out for him, from a special grade school to getting him into an Ivy League College.

Yeah, she's one of those kind of people.

I can understand wanting what's best for you child, but she does take things a little too far. She takes it to the point where you almost don't like her.

I was thankful that Chance managed to get into Molly's life. His interactions with Braden are wonderful. Its easy to see that he would make a fabulous father.

Then there was his ex and her mother. I wasn't sure the part they were going to play in all of this. When you finally find out, it was a bit disappointing.

This was a sweet holiday romance that will warm you heart for the holiday.
