Book Blurb:
Memories are our greatest link to the past, they are what we create in the present, and they can guide us in the future. Memories can define us. Adam Fletcher has none. A crippling car accident has pressed reset on Adam’s life, leaving the young man broken and lost. Britney, the woman who claims to be his best friend, tries to bring him back to society, while hiding the truth about her involvement in the crash and protecting the driver, Shaun McCoy. Starting from scratch, Adam tries to make new memories. But, what use are memories if they are constructed from lies?

Review:  The History Maker is one of those books that leaves you thinking long after you finish it. When I started it, I was thinking that this book would be more like a Nicholas Sparks kind of novel. Boy was I surprised when it turned out to be a thriller, and a great one at that.

Adam's story is one that you really get caught up in from the start. He's a young man who is not only paralyzed from a car accident, he suffers from amnesia as well. There's so much about his accident that he can't remember and then there's Britney, his bff who he has more than a little crush on..and Shaun, who is more than a bit creepy. These two have secrets that might be the key to his memories, but they might also ruin lives.

I have to admit that I really had no idea what was coming as the book entered the final chapters. I thought this book was your typical mystery/thriller sort of thing, but all I can say is Wow to the final chapters...Wow I did not see that coming

The ending blew me away.

It was totally unexpected and while (I don't want to spoil anything) I'm sure there were some hints dropped that might clue in some readers, for me the plot twist was beyond unexpected and very exciting

Definitely a must read!
