Review: The title of this book is a teensy bit deceiving. I was thinking that I was going to get a festive chicklit novel, but I should have known better, when I saw the length of this book. Holy frijoles! It almost tops 600 pages.
No joke, I can't remember when I read a book this long, and for awhile, I wasn't sure I was going to finish this one. It starts out slowly and if you have a short attention span or if you need something fast paced, this might not be a good book to start with.
Cassie's life falls apart in a very big way. More than just a cheating husband kind of way. Her husband was scum and that's about all I can say on that.
That's where her friends step in. Imagine having 3 friends living in 3 fantastic cities, and while you regroup, you get to live with them as you reinvent yourself. (Note to self...find friends like this)
In some ways I absolutely loved this book. It's more than just chicklit. Sure there are relationships going on, but it is a little deeper than that, but sometimes Cassie annoyed me and that's what kept me from being over the moon by this book.
But no matter what, if you have a cold weekend with nothing to do, grab this book and cozy up in a chair with a blanket and get to reading!

At first I thought this was a Christmas book too but it sounds like it is a fun read for any time of year!

I was about to say this book sounds great and I'll at it to my list, but 600 pages?! I'm not sure I've got time! :D
