Review: OMG! It isn't often that you stumble across a new series that is so different that you fall in love with it instantly. This was such a time for me.

I love mystery series. They bring me great joy. I love when I can find one that isn't like every other series out there.

The Shinobi mystery series is definitely one such series. This book is the third in the series and it will make you want to go back and read the first two, though it can be read as a stand alone novel.

I really enjoyed learning more about Japanese customs from the 16th century. It is really clear that Susan spent a lot of time researching this book.

Mateo and Hiro are characters you really enjoy getting to know better. I highly recommend this book to mystery fans as well as fans of Japense culture
