Review: First of all I have to say that the title of this book brings to mind a song that Barbra Streisand did many years back, called Someone I Used To Love. In fact the song stayed in my mind even though it had nothing to do with the plot of this story.

I haven't read a "real" harlequin romance in ages. In fact most of the romances I've read have fallen kind of flat with me, even though I've enjoyed them.

This story was sweet and perfect. It is a story of second chances and new beginnings.  Faith and Dean are two people that had a chance together in their teen years, but an accident that rocks their worlds and changes their lives forever.

When Dean gets stranded near his old hometown he hear's Faith's brother sing. He wants to take him back to Nashville and make him a star. That's a whole different aspect to the story one that could pull him out of the family business that Faith is desperately trying to make succeed.

I love the intricacies of the relationships in this story be it Faith and Dean, Faith and Sawyer, Sawyer and Dean and the backstory with Dean's sister Addison. There's so much heartbreak there involving the accident that took Addison's life and old hurts that didn't get closure when they should have.

Faith is a strong heroine but one that is riddled with guilt for something that she felt responsible for in the past, much the same as Dean.  I liked that she stood up for herself at the end of the story, but I didn't like her selfishness with her brother.

This book was filled with emotion on all ends, especially the scene with the horse, Duchess. If you read that and you don't cry, you might not have a heart.

This was a beautifully written novel with characters that you really come to love and who you are cheering on because you want them to have their happily ever after.
