Review: I love Addison Cole. I've been slowly working my way through the Seaside Summers series. This is the fourth book out of the 9 that I've read.

Parker Collins is a well known actress, who is dealing with the loss of her mentor, friend, only family she's ever really known.

Grayson Lacroux is an iron artist who is doing restoration work for Parker.

These two have connected through email and they both felt a connection and when they get together there is more than a connection. The heat between these two is electric. The pages sizzle.

Parker was a little hard for me to relate to. She evoked more pity from me than I'd like to feel and had a Cinderella sort of life. Her mother died when she was only a year old and she went through the system as a foster child. She's now trying to deal with grief over the loss of a friend that was the only family she had and trying to connect with this man's brother, who is the grumpiest old man ever.

Grayson was perfect. There is absolutely nothing you could say against him. In fact, if I was in the market for a book boyfriend, he'd definitely be in the running. He knew exactly how to show he cared, from helping her through her drunken grieving, to helping her deal with Abe and generally being a great boyfriend.

I couldn't quite understand Parker's reaction to the photo of her and Grayson in US magazine and her image. Just as her reaction at the end of the book didn't sit well with me. I could see her needing to be angry Grayson for going behind her back, but I really couldn't grasp why she left.

You also get to see all the characters from the past books, who quickly befriended Parker. They felt a little more incidental in this book though, because Parker is really apart from the rest of the crew.

I loved the Abe story line. It was easy to see where the story was going toward the end, with Abe's missing daughter. I actually got the idea of where she was headed with the story pretty early on and it really made for a nice HEA for her.

This was a great addition to this series. I can't wait for the next book.
