Review:  Susan Wiggs is one of my favorite authors because she knows how to weave a beautiful story, and that is definitely what this was. I love stories with dual time lines. This is set in Massachusetts and France.

Camille has lost her husband 5 years previous and she's grieving by becoming an overprotective mother, wanting to keep adventures away from everyone, because it was an adventure that claimed her husband's life.

Like most of Susan's books you get a wide cast of characters that make the story what it is. This story is not only about Camille, but her daughter Julie and her father, Henry. There's also Finn, who Camille develops a relationship with as the story progresses.

This is a simply stunning story that will grip you from start to finish.
