From USA TODAY bestselling author Colleen Coble comes the third book in her beloved Lavender Tides series.

Her mother lied about her identity and her husband wasn’t who she thought he was—can Bailey even trust herself anymore?

Running for her life in the wake of her mother’s murder, Bailey Fleming escapes to the only place she can think of—a remote, dilapidated cabin in Lavender Tides. Intending to finally get to the truth behind the lies of her past, Bailey only finds more questions when bodies are discovered near her cabin hideout along with traces of a dangerous human trafficking ring. In an unlikely partnership with FBI agent Lance Phoenix, Bailey races to understand the mystery surrounding her life and circumstances before the murderer tracks her down.

Meanwhile, Lance is determined to rescue his sister, Ava, who was abducted after running away from home as a teenager. An unexpected lead brings him to the remote cabin, and he wonders if Bailey—with her suspicious past and strange connections to his sister’s case—is really who she claims to be and if she can somehow lead him to Ava.

Review:  This book was the kind that when you start it, you won't be able to put down. I felt much the same way about The House at Saltwater Point which was a pretty amazing book.

In this book a nurse, Bailey Fleming is forced to give up her life when her mother is murdered and that murderer seems to be ready to kill her as well.

The Secrets at Cedar Cabin is book 3 in the Lavender Tides series. If you've followed the series, you'll meet a lot of familiar faces here. Lance, Grayson, Shauna and Ellie are all here as Bailey tries to figure out the mystery of her past, while Lance and company try to break up a human trafficking ring that just may have something to do with the disappearance of his sister Ava 5 years prior.

Bailey figures in with Grayson and Shauna's past who are siblings reunited in previous books.

The suspense builds from the very beginning and as more of the trafficking ring is revealed things really heat up.

The only issue I had with this book was the crazy amount of points of view that Colleen had going on. I understand that it helped tie things together with the story lines from the other books in the series, but it did make things a bit confusing at times.

Bailey's story was definitely an interesting one, even without the parts we know from the other books in this series. She's smart, kind and loyal. Her attachment to Lily really gives the reader the "feels." Though her health diagnosis was a bit unbelievable but necessary for a HEA.

Colleen Coble really is a master of  the Christian thriller. God and faith are important to the characters but faith doesn't carry the story.  This book kept me on the edge of my seat, worrying about what might happen to Bailey and would Ava and her family be reunited.

It was the perfect conclusion to this series.
