Review: I'm having a hard time writing reviews these day but I will say this book is one of best I've read in a long time.
It is wonderfully researched and Lady Margaret is such a strong character. You will laugh and cry along with her.
Set in the times of Henry I and his wife Matilda. The story is just wonderful trip into the past. Where women weren't more than just chattel to their husbands. So a strong woman like Margaret wasn't the norm.
This book reminded me of why historical fiction has always been the genre I go to when I want to get totally immersed in a book.
