Author Spotlight: Amanda Quick

One of my absolute favorite authors is Amanda Quick, who is also Jayne Ann Krentz and Jayne Castle. That's quite a lot of pen names.  Each pseudonym is used for a different genre. As JAYNE ANN KRENTZ (her married name) she writes contemporary romantic-suspense. She uses AMANDA QUICK for her novels of historical romantic-suspense. JAYNE CASTLE (her birth name) is reserved these days for her stories of futuristic/paranormal romantic-suspense.   But she rationalizes this by saying :

"I am often asked why I use a variety of pen names," she says. "The answer is that this way readers always know which of my three worlds they will be entering when they pick up one of my books."

My favorite persona of Jayne's is Amanda Quick, because I've always had a love for historical romance, and she writes wonderful novels that usually take place in either the Regency era or the Victorian era. Right now I'm trying to delve into The Arcane Society novels, which span two of her personas.

Here's the book trailer for one of the more recent books from the series, Burning Lamp

Do you have any favorite's by any of Jayne's personas?
