Review: If you can pull your eyes away from the cover you will find a short, very spicy read by Becca Dale. Lily and Thor have a past. A past that was a good one until Thor had an accident and said something stupid.

Up until it is revealed why Lily ran off on Thor, you could like him. He is exactly how a cowboy should be. He's all manly and a touch bit arrogant.  He risks his life to help a child, while endangering his own by riding a horse that nearly crippled him years back.

Death wish? Possibly.

Lily is a little harder to like. She ran off without a fight when she loved someone and then stayed away for 8 years? I wanted to smack her quite a bit. However, once I found out the backstory on Thor's accident, I wanted to smack him. Rodeo circuit or not his behavior was pretty out of line.

Yet these two manage to fall back into bed together for some pretty steamy....glass of ice water for the reader sex.  Sex is really what pulls them back together yet there is obviously love on both of their parts. I really wished this were longer than it was, because I would have liked to have really known what made Thor and Lily tick.

Becca wrapped things up nicely for the pair, giving them the happily ever after, you know they are going to get, but you did feel like there should be more.
